Lifetime Giving 

Our Lifetime Giving Societies recognize extraordinary contributions to the university. Membership is reserved for alumni and friends who have given gifts totaling $25,000 or more in cash, securities or gifts-in-kind. Levels are outlined below.

    Fellow $10,000,000 and up
    Founder $5,000,000 - 9,999,999
    Director $1,000,000 - 4,999,999
    Principal $500,000 - 999,999
    Lead $250,000 - 499,999
    Senior $100,000 - 249,999
    Specialist $50,000 - 99,999
    Associate $25,000 - 49,999


Heritage Society

Founded in 1994, the Heritage Society honors alumni and friends who remember the institution in their long-term charitable giving and estate plans through the options below. The foresight and dedication of individuals who plan today ensure that South Dakota Mines will remain a premier STEM institution for generations to come. Gifts can be made through:
