Hardrockers are coming to Cocoa Beach. Join Instructor Lowell Kolb (EE 74) and students from the Moonrockers down in Cocoa Beach, for an alumni event at Dixie Crossroads Restaurant (1475 Garden Street Titusville, FL 32796) at 6 PM. Alumni and guests will be able to order off the menu. Come hear about all the great things the students are doing as they prepare to compete at the Kennedy Space Center. The Moonrockers are a multidisciplinary team that participates in the NASA Robotic Mining Competition each year at the Kennedy Space Center. Activities are focused on vehicle development, student professional development, teaming, and K-12 outreach. NASA's Robotics Mining competition is designed to promote the development of interest in space activities and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
