South Dakota School of Mines and Technology

In 2020, alumni volunteers began a program to write notes to newly accepted students, letting them know why Mines should be their number one choice to further their education. Our alumni volunteers stepped up to answer the call and wrote over 500 postcards!

This year we want to reach 1,000 incoming students. We encourage alumni to share a memory or write a note about how South Dakota Mines helped launch their careers. This is a great way to make a difference in a student's life as they choose a college.

Fill out the form below to get started with the postcard campaign. Each volunteer filled out an average of 20 postcards last year. After you fill out the form, we will mail you postcards and a pre-paid stamped envelope to mail them back to us.
