Join local South Dakota Mines alumni, current students, family, and friends for a picnic at Boom Island Park by the Mississippi River. Let's celebrate the start of summer and our common Mines connection! This park has a playground, restroom facilities, a walking path, and paid parking lot. Confirmation emails will include a sign-up sheet for food others would like to bring. Director of Alumni Relations Shelli Grinager is bringing fried chicken. The shelter is covered so the event will take place in rain or shine (with the exception of thunder and lightning).
