Crowdfunding at South Dakota Mines with Hardrockers Give

The Center for Alumni Relations & Advancement (CARA) assists students and athletes, faculty, staff, and coaches who are interested in raising money for student organizations, sports teams, academic projects, and more. Crowdfunding initiatives with CARA utitlize our "Hardrockers Give" web site which is run through GiveGab. 

How to get started

Students should refer to CARA's page on Rocker Central. The below information is geared toward coaches, faculty and staff. 

• Those planning to run crowdfunding campaigns will first need to register, or apply, for the campaign through Hardrockers Give at https://www.crowdfunding.sdsmt.edu. 
• Please note that you’ll need an image to associate with your project, a thorough description, and most importantly, a fund with CARA to house your donation money, etc. To open a fund at CARA, please email Sondra.Bray@sdsmt.edu. 
• Once you submit your page, CARA will need to approve it. Once approved, you’ll have a link so you can promote your campaign on social media, etc.
• The Hardrockers Give site includes resources on how to get the most out of your crowdfunding initiative, as well as an option to chat with a GiveGab rep for help setting up your page.
